Dieses hohe Lied auf das Haller Stadtoberhaupt kann ich nur bedingt mitsummen. Pelgrims angebliche Genialit\u00e4t in kommunalen Finanzfragen gilt es zu relativieren. Von genial spricht der alte Lateiner, wenn etwas Neues er- und geschaffen wird. In Schw\u00e4bisch Hall hat man den Haushalt unter anderem mit altbekannten Methoden zwangsweise sanieren m\u00fcssen: Verkauf des vorhandenen Tafelsilbers und Verschieben von Schulden in Schatten- beziehungsweise Nebenhaushalte.<\/p>\n<p>Konkret hat man Defizite den Stadtwerken und der st\u00e4dtischen Tochter GWG zugeschoben. Etwas Neues oder Bahnbrechendes birgt diese Vorgehensweise mitnichten in sich. Von den \u00fcber 13.000 St\u00e4dten beziehungsweise Gemeinden in Deutschland wird sie von vielen angewendet. Und noch eines: Alle Kommunen in Deutschland haben mit immer engeren Finanzspielr\u00e4umen zu k\u00e4mpfen. Auch dort, und nicht nur in Schw\u00e4bisch Hall, gilt und galt es zu gestalten.
