November 2019, um 20.30 Uhr wieder ein Bluesabend im Programm: Mit &#8222;Whiskey On Valentines&#8220;, alias Metzger und Stahl, kommt eine &#8222;Outlaw Blues Sensation&#8220; in den Kunstbahnhof.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Von der Kulturkneipe Gleis 1 in Waldenburg<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Handgemacht und dreckig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Stimme knochentrocken wie ein 50 Jahre alter Single Malt Whiskey, die \u00fcbersteuerten Wandergitarren leidend bis dreckig, die Kickdrums kompromisslos fett und dazu eine Killerharp au\u00dferhalb der gewohnten Stilistiken. Die Musik des Duos Whiskey On Valentines ist handgemacht, dreckig \u2013 von fragil und zerbrechlich bis hin zu hochexplosiv. Geschichten von Liebe, D\u00e4monen oder Alkoholexzesse abseits jeder Realit\u00e4t. Diddy z\u00e4hlt zu den pr\u00e4genden Elementen der deutschen Blues- und Roots-Szene. Er spielte \u00fcber 20 Jahre lang mit der Blueslegende Louisiana Red bis zu dessen Tod 2012 und war Sideman von Aron Burton, Angela Brown oder Colin Jamieson\u00b4s Dynamite Daze.
