Sie spielen\u00a0\u00bbIndie-Folk-Pop mit traumhaften Melodieb\u00f6gen und immer wieder \u00fcberraschenden Haken und \u00d6sen \u2013 die niemals dahin f\u00fchren, wohin das Klischee geb\u00f6te . . .\u00ab, berichtete der Westdeutsche Rundfunk \u00fcber die vierk\u00f6pfige Band.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Von Harald Haas, 7180-Bar in Crailsheim<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experimentell, psychedelisch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Ihre neue Scheibe wurde in der Musikzeitschrift Rolling Stone gefeiert und die Zuh\u00f6rer werden dies nach dem Konzert auch tun&#8220;, sind sich die Veranstalter in Crailsheim sicher.\u00a0Nach den Alben \u00bbSoftly, Softly, Catchee Monkey\u00ab (2010), \u00bbSide By Side\u00ab (2012) und \u00bbCool Fame\u00ab (2016) erschien am 19. Oktober 2018 der spannende vierte Longplayer \u00bbFore!\u00ab, mit dem die Band neue Wege beschreitet. Die Anteile von Folk und Country sind weitgehend weggefallen, vieles ist experimenteller, psychedelischer geraten. \u00bbBrokof ist es gelungen, jegliche Kategorisierung hinter sich zu lassen, ohne die Dringlichkeit zu verlieren, die diese Band schon immer ausmacht.
